I see she's out with a campaign book. The one who would use "power as vice president" over the Senate. Amazon had it discounted to $9 from $28.
Her accomplishments amount to a few grains of sand, yet she's "written" a "memoir" at 45. Those accomplishments! Second in a beauty contest. Mayor of a village. Half-term governor. Failed vice presidential candidate. Quitter. But since she learned "holding a title" involves a lot of work! She stepped down before she had to do any real work. As time went on, Sarah showed she knew next to nothing.
She's alienated a substantial number of Republicans with her lack of accomplishment, flakiness and "I'm proud to be ignorant" demeanor.
Rogue - an unprincipled, deceitful, unreliable person; a scoundrel. This so backs up the claim that they never fact check anything.
The publisher is owned by Fox, aka Ruppert Maddock. Enough said.
Maybe it's the X-men analogy, the one who sucks all the powers out of the other super heroes. You know she had a ghost writer right from the title. If she'd written the book herself it would be called "Goin' Rogg!" However, the publisher was more than happy as he read her input, "The End." Two words but so effective.
Save your money, everybody. The book is probably about keeping government small (except for the rich tax cuts), fake fiscal conservativism, patriotism (except when Obama is in the White House), some Saint Ronnie references, boot straps, moose hunting, gun lovin', being a maverick and rogue-y (but not at the same time), presidential delusions, quittin' for money. Maybe some tips on winkin' and pageant walkin'. Then again, it could be a pop-up book.
She is doing the classic "looking slightly to the left" routine. Storm clouds approaching behind her, very telling. "Oh wait, forgot the flag pin, it makes me a real American." Perfect cover though, imagery of reality: head in the clouds. Shucks, I was hoping there would be a guy dispatching turkeys in the background.
Having the expanse of the Alaskan wilderness as a possible backdrop, she chose a studio setting, Sears studio back drop. I can see the photographer squeezing the squeaky toy to get her to laugh.
Next month, I'll snatch up copies of Palin's book for $1 each, and give them out as gag-gift stocking stuffers, like I did with Fabio's CD.
It's really difficult to contain my excitement. Yawn!
I predict Sarah will run off to another event soon where she will be applauded and fawned over, even though small. In their eyes she's been "blessed." Touched by an angel, for all intents and purposes. She knows this; you can tell by the deer in the headlights look on her face.
I suspect about 10 "paid speaking engagements" before the invitations peter out due to lack of interest in hearing the same speech an 11th time. No matter the crinkle-nose and wink.
Only if the pages are softer than my toilet paper.
