Pacita P. Franada, 87, of Barrington, Ill., and formerly of Warsaw, died at 10:45 p.m. April 24, 2011, in Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington.
He was born Feb. 28, 1924, in Manila, Philippines, to Geromino and Modesta Pardinos Pacheco. On Dec. 14, 1962, in Quezon City, Philippines, she married Dr. Hector B. Franada, who died Oct. 17, 1997.
She lived in Warsaw for 32 years before moving to Barrington. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, International Crossroads, Church Women United, Salvation Army Auxiliary, Rosary Altar Society, Lion’s Club and Christian Women’s Club of Warsaw. She volunteered  for Kosciusko Community Hospital, the Alternative Learning Center and Cardinal Center.
Surviving are a son, Ferdinand (and spouse Michelle) Franada, Port Barrington, Ill.; two daughters,   Frances (and spouse Todd) Collett, Winona Lake, and Dr. Florianne (and spouse Scott) Burns, St. Charles, Ill.; a brother, Rodolfo Parcheco, Quezon City; three grandchildren, Olivia Burns and Dylan and Rylan Franada.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Philip DeVolder officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
