They say President Obama is doing a victory lap. For what? That is my question.
A tax cut was passed that was the doing of the president before him. If the tax cut had not been passed now, we all would have been paying a boo-hoo bunch more in taxes after Jan. 1.
We now have the don't ask, don't tell thing approved. What did we gain there? Just another moral decline in our society. Another slap in the face to our military. We should have came up with a way to honor and say thanks to all of our men and women who fought and died for us instead of this thing we got.
This all is pretty much the same old b.s. from Obama, isn't it? He promised the moon and stars to get into office, then after losing many seats he has went the way of butt-kissing to try and ensure that he will be re-elected in 2012. Now he says it's time for immigration reform and I suppose we will have that shoved right down our throats the same way as the health care reform.
A victory lap, I say not. More of a hungry man hell bent to stay in power. Have a nice day. God bless the USA.
