By becoming involved with the Kosciusko Community YMCA, individuals have the opportunity to improve their health and well-being and connect with the community, all while participating in their favorite program or activity, according to a news release from the Y. As a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y seeks to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive, the release states. The YMCA will have an open house from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. It will be giving tours, giving away door prizes and offering an incentive to new members. New members also can sign up for an engagement coach who will help them stay motivated and be accountable to their goals for the new year. The Kosciusko Community YMCA offers a variety of programs to help achieve greater health and well-being, nurture youth and inspire individuals to give back to better their community.
