Surely I'm not the only person watching "On The Record" with Greta interviewing Sen. Reid on the April 5 show. The conversation between her and Reid concerning the so-called Corn Husker deal with Sen. Nelson and Sen. Reid caught my attention.Correct me if I misunderstood Reid's explanation of that bribe. I thought he said there was nothing wrong with it because everyone now had the same deal. If I'm correct his offer to Nelson was for his vote. I'll pay your state Medicaid costs from here on. Now, of course, he didn't mean to pay out of his pocket, oh no it would be out of mine and yours.
Now think about this a moment, from everyone would be 49 more states. If you did the math on this, it would be an ungodly amount of money coming from you know where. It's my personal opinion, having seen Nelson back pedaling on his vote later, that Reid came up with this everyone thing to pacify his so called friend Sen. Nelson. In closing I would add I heard Sen. Reid comment to Greta, "I off times keep things to myself." I have no trouble believing that and it bothers me big time.
