MUNCIE – Norman L. Jeffers, 85, of Muncie, died Aug. 12, 2012, with his family at his side.
He was born March 29, 1927, in Oneida, Tenn., to Lawrence and Mary Chambers Jeffers. On June 5, 1948, in Dalton, Ga., he married Faye Phillips, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, including Peggy Ann (and spouse Bryan) Ciula, Warsaw; a sister; a brother; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, Muncie, with Dr. Collins Glen officiating.
