Editor, Times-Union: One of the most frightening, terrifying, creepy and scary day is coming and I’m not talking about Halloween, I’m talking about Apathy Day. The candidates and their supporters name it Election Day. Qualified people don’t run any more. There isn’t any compromise. Both parties say, “Our way or the highway.” Instead of compassion, we have road rage on abortion, same-sex marriage, Obamacare, education, where does it end? We throw the Bible at people with different views than our own without reading the Bible ourselves. The winners will vote themselves raises and benefits, but you better not ask them any questions. Are we going to be tricked or treated? The winners will receive a bag of goodies and the people will end up with a rock of despair in theirs. Mr. Nisly supporters say, “Vote Wisely.” If you do vote, just remember, your name will be added to the list for jury duty. Paul Fribley Warsaw
