BOURBON - Nicole Elaine Thornton, 17, of 7510 Hickory Road, Plymouth, died at 11 p.m. Jan. 14, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in rural Marshall County.

She was born Nov. 26, 1990, in Plymouth, to Steven Glen and Maria Christina Guerrero Thornton, who survive in Plymouth.

She was a lifetime resident of the Plymouth and Bourbon area. She was a junior at Triton High School, where she was active in student activities including girls golf, wrestling manager, art club, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA and Spanish Club.

Also surviving are a brother, Anthony Guerrero, Plymouth; grandparents, Manuel Guerrero and Maria Fernandez, both of Plymouth; Glen Bruce and Elaine Mary Thornton, both of Battle Creek, Mich.; and a great-grandmother, Mildred Grace Guennette, Ingersoll, Canada.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bourbon First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Day officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
