So here it is the end of November, nobody is celebrating the month of November is Native American Indians who have strived and survived on their heritage and culture in the past and that for we don’t know the future. As for me, I have seen the past.
And I don’t know the future will bring, but to the people of Nations to Nations in America from the North NW-NFSW and South, SE, I think all of us Indians have been “forgotten.” All we hear about this is all the laws, and there’s immigrant laws, border wars and political laws and wars, so I say the governments, president have forgotten the Indians from Nations to Nations, and so far we are defined by laws and events and trends.
In the U.S., Asians, Native Americans and indeed people of all kinds of cultural background are pushed aside. So the governments and the agencies say we’re supposed to get some money if are full-blooded or half-blooded or 1/8 and 1/4 will. What happened to all that money I was supposed to get? So people haven’t heard about the Trails of Blood, Massacre at Wounded Knee and Battle of Big Horn and Battle at Little Creek, the Long Walk. And that was courage to all Nation to Nations. We are no being acknowledged of our own lands, our own continents and in history books ... but here we are, the invisible people.
We the Native Americans, we strive to keep the Nations to Nations ancestrial wisdom and history and their culture alive through story telling, mentoring, healing and learning. I am Zuni Pueblo Indian from New Mexico.
