BOURBON – Nathan W. McConnell, 24, Etna Green, passed away May 15, 2015, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend as a result of injuries he suffered in an automobile accident earlier Friday in Elkhart County. He was born Sept. 28, 1990, in Mishawaka, to David and Mary Neidig McConnell. He had been a lifelong resident of Etna Green. He attended Triton High School and received his GED in 2011. He worked at Veada Industries, New Paris, manufacturing boat seats. He loved music, video games and skateboarding. He is survived by his parents, David and Mary, Etna Green; his sister, Grace McConnell, Bourbon; his brother, David McConnell II, Bourbon; grandmother, Bernadine Neidig, Bourbon; three nieces: Kayla, Karma and Adelyn; one nephew, Kyle; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Neidig, and Robert and Janet McConnell; and an uncle, Glenn Leonard. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S.
