Nancy Marie McGlothin

Nancy Marie McGlothin, Winona Lake, passed away at 6:53 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at her residence at the age of 72.

She was born Aug. 13, 1945, in Detroit, Mich., to Frederick Augustus Wootton and Erna Viola Grube Wootton. On Aug. 16, 1969, she was married to Stephen “Steve” David McGlothin.

Nancy was a 1963 graduate of Redford (Mich.) High School and a 1970 graduate of Detroit Bible College.

Nancy was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 48 years; after moving to Winona Lake, she worked for Grace College and Seminary until 1972. She was also a homemaker and helped her husband do the books for their business, Grace Janitorial Services in Warsaw. She had formerly been a member of Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw. Nancy was dearly loved, and she loved her friends, family and especially her grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Steve McGlothin, Winona Lake; two sons, Shannon (wife Chanda Evans) McGlothin, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jonathan (wife Vida Sacic) McGlothin, Chicago, Ill.; and her daughter, Dawn McGlothin, Winona Lake. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Maxwell and Henry; a brother, Daniel (Nancy) Wootton, Spartanburg, S.C.; and her sister-in-law, Barbara McGlothin, Waterford, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son Kyle at birth.

Her memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Pleasant View Bible Church, 2782 W. 200 N., Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Mike Hontz and assisted by Pastor Jerry Pryor.

There will be time for visiting an hour prior to the service at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.

Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
