In the months since Barack Obama entered the office of U.S. president, it has become crystal clear that he and his cabinet members have no respect for both the Constitution (which they each were supposed to take an oath to uphold), and the American people, as well as our way of life.
During the campaign, Obama's "religion" came into question, and he answered "I am a committed Christian." He did, in fact, state this as a point of issue.
If this were truth, he would never support abortion rights. He would also defend freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
However, Obama and his people (cabinet, as well as followers) have sought to silence those voices and published articles/magazines/Web sites which have openly criticized him, and taken a stand against his arrogant defiance of Constitutional rule of law.
When Obama campaigned for the presidency, I told my wife that, if he won, I would seek to renounce my citizenship as an American, and instead look into becoming a citizen of Israel, as that land is the nation which God loves.
It will take a lot to convince my wife that this is a wise and proper move, but I would rather live amongst the Jewish people in a blessed nation than to live under a government which, no doubt, will be cursed to suffer the wrath of Almighty God.
Glenn Beck has said on his radio program that two of Obama's cabinet members have begun personal attacks against him, which is a violation of the Constitution's "free speech" guarantee.
It does not bother me to have a black man as president, but it angers me to have someone (of any race or gender) who violates the nations laws, and the people's rights, setting in a position of power, and to see that person behaving as a tyrant.
If Obama and his followers want a fight, I can guarantee that, just as Bill Clinton started a scuffle with a segment of the American public in the 1990s, so to will Obama find that "we, the people ..." will never bow down in surrender to his self-serving agenda, nor ever to his will.
The Constitution is said to guarantee the rights of the American people, but it also limits the power of government. We must make all those in elected offices learn their limitations, especially by voting for more responsible leaders at each election cycle.
