Miner Is Best Choice

Editor, Times-Union:

On June 2, Republican voters will make a decision on who we nominate to succeed Judge Sutton as judge of the Kosciusko Superior Court III. I can think of no one better for the job than Chad Miner.

Chad has been an attorney in private practice for many years here in Warsaw and is managing partner at his law firm. He knows what it’s like to run a successful business and to have to make payroll. Because of that, he’ll be able to run Superior III efficiently, which will be a great benefit to all the taxpayers who rely on that court’s services.

Chad also has a great temperament for a judge. He’s courteous and respectful to everyone, but at the same time, he’s not afraid to make tough decisions. That’s a rare combination, and it’s a perfect demeanor for someone presiding over a contentious courtroom.

Finally, since Chad has presided over Superior Court III many times when Judge Sutton was away, he’ll be able to assume the role of judge with minimal on-the-job training.

I’ll be voting for Chad Miner in the Republican primary, and I hope that you do, too.
