President Trump’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett should remind us all of the importance of the judicial branch of government. We need good conservative judges who follow the law as it is written instead of making it up as they go. That’s true not just for the Supreme Court but also for our local courts.
We have a contested judge race in Kosciusko County this year, and I am proud to support Republican Chad Miner for that office. Chad Miner will be a good, conservative judge who believes in the rule of law. He has been a leader in our community, and I know that he is fair, impartial and knowledgeable about the law.
President Trump has said that, “The impartial and objective judge, who is a faithful servant of the law, is essential to the survival of American liberty.”
