I have known Chad for approximately 10 years. During my 26-year career as a Detroit police officer, I have known a lot of great judges and I personally cannot think of anyone more qualified for that position than Chad. His demeanor and ability to communicate with others is beyond reproach.
Two years ago, as a friend and managing director of the North Webster branch of the KCYMCA, I approached Chad and asked him if he might consider serving on our YMCA Board of Directors and without hesitation, he replied, “I am always looking for ways to be involved with the community.”
His knowledge and impeccable work has been a blessing to the Y. Despite all his pro bono work and numerous hours he has put in serving the board, he still talks to me.
