NAPPANEE — Mervin Lee Schmucker, 45, North CR 625W, Etna Green, died unexpectedly of natural causes in his apartment in Goshen on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017.
He was born March 10, 1972, in South Bend, to Melvin J. and Erma Helmuth Schmucker.
He lived his lifetime in this area. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church in Nappanee.
Mr. Schmucker is survived by his parents; siblings:Dennis Eugene (Regina Kay) Schmucker and Clara Fern (Jacob Lynn) Miller, both of Etna Green; Anna Marie Schmucker and Lorene Sue Schmucker, both of Nappanee; Martha Ella (Chris) Stutsman, Milford; Donald Jay Schmucker, Nappanee; and Andrew (Sarah Jean) Schmucker, Harry James Schmucker, Freida Schmucker and Melvin Jay Schmucker Jr., all of Etna Green; eight nieces; one great-niece; and one great-nephew.
Family and friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, and all day Thursday, Dec. 28, at the Duane Miller residence, 6875 W. CR 800N, Nappanee.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, also at the Miller residence. Home ministry from the Old Order Amish Church will officiate, and burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
