Maximina Mendez De Cacahua, 58, of Warsaw, died at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 28, 2011, in her residence.
She was born May 29, 1952, in Cholula Puebla, Mexico, to Miguel Mendez Juanico and Maria de Los Angeles Cuachoca. She married Jose Cacahua in Mexico 44 years ago. He survives.
Living in Warsaw for the past 15 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are five daughters, Blanca Cacahua (and spouse Regorio), Micaela Cacahua (and spouse Andres), Piedad Cacahua (and spouse Bernardo) Cacahua and Patricia Cacahua, all of Warsaw, and Angelina Cacahua (and spouse Hediberto); four sons, Miguel (and spouse Blanca) Cacahua, Marino (and spouse Inez) Cacahua, David (and spouse Jeniffer) Cacahua and Omar Cacahua, all of Warsaw; three sisters, Concecion, Yolanda and Lucha Mendez, all of Mexico; and two brothers, Raul and Caciano Mendez, both of Mexico; 28 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Constantino Rocha officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
