SYRACUSE – Mary Willard, long-time Syracuse resident, went home to be with her Lord on Jan. 20, 2019.
She was born on June 17, 1923, in Syracuse, to Lena and Harry Culler. In 1943 she married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Willard. They had two children, Kenny Jr. and Judy.
For years, Mary was active in her home church, St. Andrews United Methodist. She also volunteered at the local thrift shop.
Mary enjoyed spending time outdoors, bowling and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and George Kalich.
She was preceded by her husband, Kenneth, and her son, Kenny Jr.
Services will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, from 10 a.m. until noon.
