ROGERS, Ark. - Mary Rogers Royce Oliver, 57, Winslow, Ark., formerly of Indiana, died Aug. 8, 2011, in Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. She was born March 15, 1954, in Hammond, to Raymond and Juanita Jarman Royce, who died. She married Stephen Phillip Oliver, who died in 2007. She graduated from Griffith High School, and was in the first graduating class of EMTs in Indiana. She also attended the Potomac Horse Center in the horse masters program. She was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Springdale, Ark., where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a volunteer firefighter for the Boston Mountain Fire Association. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Mayfield, Winslow, Ark., and Alethea (and spouse Karle) Honomichl, West Fork, Ark.; two brothers, Raymond Mark Royce, Maryville, Tenn., and Lewis (and spouse Alice Beth) Royce, Maryville; two sisters, Margaret Galvin, Hammond, and Tina Smiley, Silver Lake; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 20 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Springdale, Ark., with the Rev. Pamela S. Morgan-Rector officiating. A private memorial service will be at a later date in Indiana to celebrate her life.
