SYRACUSE - Mary Jane Neff, 92, of CR 50, and formerly of Front Street, Syracuse, died March 17, 2010, in her residence.

She was born April 19, 1917, to Andrew J. and Stella Mae Brady Welty. On April 3, 1937, in Tyner, she married Orville Clyde Neff, who died April 23, 1990.

She was an inspector at Anderson Bolling, Goshen, and also worked at Smoker Craft, New Paris. She was a member of Peoples Bible Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Null and Deanna Ott, both of Syracuse, and Sheryl (and spouse Larry) Stabler, Warsaw; a son, Herbert L. Neff, Syracuse; two sisters, Clara Belle (and spouse Robert) Hartman, Milford, and Ethel Elliott, New Paris; a brother, Willard (and spouse Lois) Welty, Goffstown, N.H.; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mona Lou Neff; a sister, Mae Bickel; three brothers, William "Jake" and Andy Welty and an infant, Josiah Albert Welty; and two sons-in-law, Richard Ott and James Null.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.

Calling is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
