Mary Ann Richardson, 78, of 920 Shady Lane, Warsaw, died at 1:55 p.m. Jan. 21, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Charlie and Rose Whitaker Haywood. On Oct. 21, 1950, she married William Richardson, who survives.
She worked at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, for many years, and Murphy Medical Center. A Kosciusko County resident for 57 years, she was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are two sons, Jerry L. (and wife Paula) Richardson, Leesburg, and Larry D. (and spouse JoAnn) Richardson, Warsaw; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six sisters: Barbara Shoemaker and Betty Hensley, both of South Bend; Lois Haywood, Mishawaka; Brenda Ritter, Granger; Oma Weddington, Banner, Ky.; and Rita Cline, Harrodsburg, Ky. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor David Cripe officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
