Mary Ann 'Mimi' Patricia Anderson

Mary Ann "Mimi" Patricia Anderson, 61, died at 8:45 p.m. Feb. 11, 2010, in her Barbee Lake resident with the comfort of her family after an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 25, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to Richard and Patricia O'Gorman Zawodniak. On July 18, 1970, in Chicago, Ill., she married Terry Anderson, who survives. They would have celebrated their 40th anniversary this year.

She spent her childhood on the south side of Chicago in a small unincorporated town, Garden Homes, Ill., and was a long-time resident of the Barbee Lake area. She was a homemaker and, for a period of time, owned Little Shop of Crafts, North Webster. She had many lifelong loving friends and kids and will be remembered by her love for animals, creativity, great sense of humor, giving heart and her live day by day approach to life. She will be sadly missed by many.

Also surviving are a sister, Patti (and spouse Gary) Packard, Thornton, Ill.; her mother-in-law, Mildred Anderson, Warsaw; two nephews, Jeremy Klimasara and Glenn Anderson; and a niece, Jessica Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at North Webster American Legion with a remembrance meal to follow at the Legion.

A memorial calling will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Legion.

Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
