NORTH MANCHESTER - Marjorie Stinebaugh Miller, 91, of North Manchester, died at 2:40 p.m. June 5, 2010, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

She was born April 11, 1919, in Flora to Virgil and Audra Humberd Stinebaugh. On May 31, 1942, she married Vernon F. Miller, who survives.

She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester. She graduated from Shortridge High School, Indianapolis, where she was active in choir and orchestra playing the cello. She graduated from Manchester College in 1941. She lived in Ohio, Indiana, California, Virginia and Pennsylvania. For several years, she returned to teaching and taught high school English and home economics at Concord High School, Elkhart. She also enjoyed the opportunity and training as a docent with the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. For 20 years, she retired to a family farm near South Whitley. In 2002, she moved to Timbercrest Senior Living Community, North Manchester.

Surviving are two sons, Jim (and spouse Mary) Miller, Bridgewater, Va., and David (and spouse Katie) Miller, Decatur, Ill.; two daughters, Judi (and spouse Mike) Brown, North Manchester, and Delia (and spouse Tim) Waits, Goshen; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and twin siblings who died in infancy.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester, with Pastor Kurt Borgmann officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is one hour prior to service Saturday at the church.
