OREGON, Ohio - Marjorie June Hubartt, of The Lutheran Home of Toledo, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2008.

She was born in Indiana to Devon and Gladys Emmons Sr. On June 26, 1946, she married Max W. Hubartt, who preceded her in death.

She moved to the Toledo area in 1968. She formerly lived at Northgate Apartments, but lived most of her adult life in East Toledo. She was a 1940 Bippus High School graduate.

She worked for several places during her life, but was most proud of her work as a nurse's aide at Eastview Nursing Home in Oregon. She was an avid Ohio State University basketball fan, and enjoyed playing bingo and listening to country music. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and collecting pictures of them. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Surviving are five children: C. Michael, Flushing, N.Y.; Mark (and spouse Joanne), Arlington, Texas; Max (and spouse Pat), Binghamton, N.Y.; Maria (and spouse Larry) Hamilton, Oregon, Ohio; and Milton (and spouse Tracy), Toledo; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, William Emmons; and a sister, Marcella Merica. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Devon Emmons Jr.; a sister, Ignota Smith; and a great-grandchild, Kaitlyn Dittman.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at The Lutheran Home of Toledo, 131 N. Wheeling St., Toledo. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Clear Creek Cemetery, Huntington.

Calling will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, Oregon, Ohio, and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at The Lutheran Home of Toledo.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at the Lutheran Home for their loving care of Marjorie and to the Hospice Staff of Northwest Ohio.
