PIERCETON — Marilee J. Bailey, 92, Pierceton, passed away at 5:55 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born April 15, 1926, in Pierceton, to Paul W. and Henrietta Williamson Rager. On May 3, 1947, in Columbia City, she was united in marriage to Lewis Bailey, who preceded her on March 3, 1986.
She was formerly employed by Pierceton Elementary School in food service, with 27 years of service. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pierceton.
Survivors include sons, Bill (spouse Vicky) Bailey, Warsaw, and Brad (spouse Anna) Bailey, Pierceton; brother, Jack Rager, Pierceton; sister, Nancy Schuman, Del Norte, Colo.; grandchildren: Laurie Trompeter, David (spouse Mandy) Bailey and Carissa (spouse Eli) Carter; and great-grandchildren: Cameron and Katie Trompeter, Keller and Finn Bailey, and Collette Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
The funeral service is scheduled for noon Saturday, June 16, with visitation two hours prior, from 10 a.m. to noon, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Pastor Holly White is officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
