Mangas Starts, Scores 4 In All-Star VictoryPLAINFIELD – Warsaw’s Kyle Mangas started and scored four points for the Indiana All-Stars in Thursday’s 134-92 win over the Junior All-Stars.
Mangas made 1 of 4 shots from the floor, missed a pair of three-point shots, and made both his free throws. He had six rebounds, two offensive, and four assists in 23 minutes.
Castle’s Jack Nunge had 28 points in 28 minutes to pace the Indiana All-Stars. Cloverdale’s Cooper Neese had 25 points, while Mack Smith of Warren Central and Jalen Adaway of Logansport had 20 points each. Crown Point’s Sasha Stefanovic added 17 points and Connersville’s Grant Smith had 12.
Merrillville’s Johnny Bernard led the Junior All-Stars with 15 points. Kevin Easley of Lawrence North had 13 points, with Eric Hunter of Tindley and Walter Ellis of South Bend Adams adding 12 points each.
Mangas and the Indiana All-Stars will play a team of Kentucky All-Stars Saturday night at Bankers’ Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, and again Sunday in Frankfort, Ky.
