Ellie Milam led Manchester with nine points, and Drew Thompson added seven. Cierra Carter, Kennedy Fierstos, Tiffany Johnson and Bailey Sewell scored six points each for the Lady Squires. Winamac had a 12-6 lead after the first quarter, and Manchester trailed by four after the third quarter. The visitors outscored Manchester 18-7 over the final eight minutes to secure the win. Manchester fell to 3-2 and will host Oak Hill Saturday evening. Monday in Waterford Mills Carissa Urschalitz and Rachel Sand scored six ponts each in Lakeland Christians Academy’s 40-21 loss to Bethany Christian near Goshen. Girls Swimming Monday in Akron Knox, using a slightly larger roster, edged Tippecanoe Valley’s girls swim team 76-62 Monday evening. The Lady Vikings won eight of 12 events contested, but didn’t have more than one contestant in any event. Knox had two or more swimmers in all eight individual swimming events to take the win.
