Boys Soccer Friday in Valparaiso Lakeland Christian Academy was outshot 20-4 in a 10-0 road loss to Victory Christian Academy Friday evening. “The game started pretty evenly match, both teams looked to have about equal skill and athleticism,” said LCA head coach Vincent Sell via e-mail. “Both teams had a couple early chances. LCA held VCA to 0-0 for the first 20 minutes of the game, then VCA made a break through. VCA would score three more times in the first half as LCA became discouraged, ending the first half 4-0.” The second half was even more down hill for the Cougars. Sell said his team gave the game to VCA with poor passing and little effort to win balls back. VCA put in 6 more goals in the second half to finish the game 10-0. LCA is 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference. The Cougars will take on Winamac on Tuesday.
