Manchester Downs Wabash For 1st Win Of 2017 Season NORTH MANCHESTER – Josh Shepherd, Delton Moore and Nick Wagner each ran for touchdowns to lead Manchester to a 38-16 win in the Squires’ home opener Friday night. It was Manchester’s first win of the football season.
Devon Rooney caught touchdown passes of 26 and seven yards from Hayes Sturtsman in the fourth quarter. Sturtsman also had a pair of two-point conversions, with Rooney and David McAtee adding one conversion each.
Sturtsman completed eight passes for 134 yards in the contest.
Wagner paced the Squire defense with 12 tackles. Cameron Sellers added 10 stops and Braden Fortner had nine tackles for Manchester.
Now 1-2 on the season, Manchester will host Peru (0-3) Friday night.
