I recently wrote a letter titled, Jail Needs A Psychologist. Yes, I do truly believe this to be true. But however the Kosciusko County Jail is a very very very good place. I don't know about other fails, but I feel blessed to be here.
The jailers are all incredibly nice. If an inmate wants to change his or her life, he or she has every available opportunity. We have church three nights a week. We have AA two nights a week. We have a Bible study, life skills, anger management, parenting class. All of these are done by volunteers. And I speak for all of us when I say thank you for your time.
Because I've been asked why do you want a psychologist, if you say you believe in God? Well I do believe in God, God has gotten me this far. There was no one but God and me. So what does it matter if I want to talk to a psychologist? God is still very much a part of my life and always will be.
But to the men and women that work and volunteer here, let me just say thank you and God bless you. You do make a difference in people's lives. Not many can say that.
