Love Your Children

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

Parents, parents, please give me your attention. If you are not careful, you will cry and cry to yourself when and if you become old. Christ said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Talking to an adult that had the occasion to visit many young children at school, he or she found them dirty in the face, etc. You just know the parent does not appreciate their very own child. It appears the parent is not doing her very duty. Twenty years slides by fast. Some parents think of themselves and neglect the most valuable asset they own (their children). That is really a shame. Someone said, "Your sins has a way of finding you out."

May I assure you, that when old, it is like heaven when someone comes around and takes you for a ride. Also, when you need some other help.

Some parents look for the day their children can leave home. I can assure you, you will be sorry some day. How you treat your children is very, very important. Children will remember that for the rest of their life. That is something they never forget.

Someone said, and I believe it: "The nearest thing to heaven on earth is the home where husband and wife, mom and dad and children live in love and peace together for the Lord and for each other." This is my wish for you. May God richly bless you.
