Loretta Lucille Rarick, 91, Warsaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 26, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Chicago, to George and Emma Wunderlick. On July 29, 1939, she married Luther Downing Rarick, who died April 23, 2009. She was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Warsaw, former member of Bourbon Bible Church, and she was always involved in church activities, including Vacation Bible School, the Mission Band, the Ladies Group and also taught Sunday School. Surviving are two sons: Donald (and spouse Carolyn) Rarick, Warsaw; and Mark (and spouse Sandra) Rarick, Fort Wayne; four grandchildren: Steven (and spouse Tammy) Rarick, Terre Haute; Daniel Rarick, Warsaw; and Andrew and Rebecca Rarick, both of Fort Wayne; one great-grandson, Tommy Rarick, Terre Haute; and her sister, Jean Dumas, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carol Ann Rarick; two sisters and two brothers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Layne Sumner officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Warsaw.
