SYRACUSE – Lois Walbridge, 91, passed away Feb. 9, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Pearl, Colo., to E.R. and Luella Jones Haworth. On May 10, 1942, she married George E. Walbridge, who died in 2004. She was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and Lighthouse Point, Fla. She taught high school in Michigan for many years and co-owned Smith-Walbridge Camp, Syracuse. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, George R. Walbridge, Syracuse; and three grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, William Walbridge, and a brother, Jerry Haworth. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Eastway officiating. Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E.
