Boys Tennis Regionals
Warsaw vs. Goshen
Warsaw’s tennis season came to an end on Tuesday night, as the team dropped a hard fought, 3-2 battle to Goshen at the NorthWood regional on Tuesday.
The two Tiger victories came from their No. 2 and 3 singles players. No. 2 Henry Norton picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win, while No. 3 Ted Grandon cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory in his final match for Warsaw. Neither No. 1 was able to advance individually.
Tippecanoe Valley’s William Mellott also competed as an individual on Tuesday night, but fell 6-0, 6-0 to Northridge’s Seth Lomas.
Boys Soccer Sectionals
Wawasee at NorthWood
Wawasee’s season came to an end at the hands of host school NorthWood in the first round of sectional play Tuesday night, as the team fell 6-0. The Warriors end the campaign with a 1-15 record.
No statistics were available for the game. Wawasee will return next season.
Girls Soccer Sectionals
Tippecanoe Valley vs. NorthWood
The Tippecanoe Valley girls soccer season ended at Plymouth High School on Tuesday night,
as the team lost 12-0 to NorthWood in the opening round of sectional play. The Lady Vikings end the fall with a 3-11 record.
No statistics were available for the game. Tippecanoe Valley will return next season.
Volleyball
Wawasee at West Noble
Wawasee suffered a loss to West Noble on Tuesday night, falling 3-0 (11-25, 7-25, 7-25). The Lady Warriors are now 4-25 this fall.
No statistics were available for the game. Wawasee wraps up the regular season against NorthWood on Thursday.
Manchester at Wabash
Manchester picked up a conference win on Tuesday, defeating Wabash 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-20) on the road. The Lady Squires are now 22-6 this season, 7-2 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Izzy Renz led the team with 14 kills. Hadley West had 20 digs. Peyton Ream dished out 15 assists.
Manchester plays its final regular season game Thursday against Blackhawk Christian.
Northfield at Whitko
Whiko creeped back up to .500 with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-15) win over Northfield on Tuesday. The Lady ‘Cats are now 13-13 this fall, 4-4 in the TRC.
Alexa Culp led the team with nine kills and 15 digs. Addison Patrick had five aces. Meredith Hindbaugh had 18 assists.
Whitko will head to Rochester on Thursday.
Triton at Caston
Triton began the final week of the regular season with a win on Tuesday night, defeating Caston 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 29-27) on the road. The Lady Trojans are 19-11 this season, 4-3 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Avery Viers had 19 kills to lead the way, as well as four aces. Lydia Hammond had 14 digs in the win, while Clara Doll had 18 assists.
Triton plays its regular season finale on Thursday against South Central.
