BOURBON – Linda C. Shirey, 73, of Bourbon, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in her home with her family by her side.
Linda was born on Oct. 20, 1951, to Howard “Bill” and Lois Thomas Feldman in Warsaw. She graduated from Triton High School in 1970. She married Glenn Steven Shirey on April 10, 1999, and he survives. She worked for Warsaw Community High School in the media center until her retirement. She belonged to the Country Church in Bourbon. She enjoyed bird watching, flowers, spending time with her best friend, Marsha Kilgore, and she loved her family unconditionally.
Linda is survived by her husband, Glenn Steven Shirey; her daughter, Tana (Mike) Johnson, of Bourbon; her son, Matt (Becky) Westafer, of Bourbon; her stepdaughter, Jaime (Brandan) Costilow; her stepsons, Brandon (Serena) Shirey, of Cape Coral, Fla.; Ryan (Jamalee) Shirey, of Warsaw; her brothers, Steven (Donna) Feldman, of Bourbon; Russell (Audrey) Feldman, of Bourbon; her sister-in-law, Suzy Klinefelter; her grandchildren: Michael Johnson, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Lindsey Johnson (Ray Hamblin), of Bourbon; Spencer Johnson, of Bourbon; Isaac (Sam) Wall, of Osh Kosh, Wis.; Allie Westafer, of Bourbon; Mikala Shirey, of Muncie; Madison Shirey, of Fort Wayne; Kendall Shirey, of Cape Coral, Fla.; her three great-grandchildren and one more on the way.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lois Feldman.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 10 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m.
Memorial donations in Linda’s honor may be made to Traditions Health Hospice, 3555 Park Place W., Suite 100, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
