Linda C. Novotny, 53, Warsaw, passed away at 1:50 p.m. March 25, 2015, at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1962, in Michigan City, to Ken and Jane Downs Duszynski. On Aug. 6, 1988, in Warsaw, she married David Novotny, who survives.
She graduated from Elston High School, Michigan City. She worked as a teacher’s aide for Madison Elementary School, Warsaw, from 2013 to 2015. She also was a former Mary Kay consultant.
She was a Notre Dame fan and loved going to the games. She also loved going on family trips. One of her great accomplishments in life was to be able to have her son, Dawson, through in vitro fertilization.
Also surviving are a son, Dawson Novotny, Warsaw; six siblings: Marsha, Patricia, Michael, Paul and Ken Jr., all of Michigan City; and Cathy, Evansville; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mark, Staci and Andrea Novotny and Rich Topalski, all of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer of Warsaw Community Church officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
