Editor, Times-Union: On Sunday Aug. 27, our daughter's pet Beagle, Elvis, was killed by a hit and run driver on Ind. 15S and CR 800S. We were notified by a compassionate animal lover who stopped to see if she could help. During the confusion, my daughter was so upset, she forgot to ask for the woman's name. We would like to thank her for her kindness and thoughtfulness in calling us. If you live in the area, we would appreciate you contacting us.
