Let Freedom Ring

Editor, Times-Union:

I would like to extend my thanks and support to Attorney General Rokita and the Commissioners for their bold leadership in declaring the county as a Constitutional Rights Sanctuary, as well as a Second Amendment Rights Sanctuary. I also emphatically support their efforts to ban CRT (Critical Race Theory) in our county and can only wish that patriotic actions such as theirs echo across this country.

Critical Race Theory is a birth child of Karl Marx’s Critical Theory, which was a Communist construct aimed to pit different classes against one another. After the Communist propaganda failed to catch hold in the West, disciples of Marx left their incubator at Frankfurt University and took their show on the road, infecting our universities in the mid-1920s. Using the history of America and our racial strife throughout the 19th and a large part of the 20th century, their attempts to create divisions in our society soon changed from “class warfare” to “racial warfare” ... thus CRT.

The officials at Zimmer Biomet’s letter to the Commissioners, published in the Times-Union July 21 seemed at best a contradiction to successful business practices and at worst, a veiled attempt to twist the arms of our county leadership. The largest employer in our county seems to think that opposition to the spread of the insidious CRT propaganda would detrimentally effect their ability to recruit “new talent” at Zimmer Biomet. This attitude begs the question who is it you are trying to recruit? The ranks of the organizations who are avid supporters of CRT, such as BLM and The Black Liberation group are professed Marxist. These organizations unapologetically work for the destruction of the “nuclear family,” the stripping of private property rights and the collapse of capitalism. This not only seems to be a strange talent pool to draw the future technicians of Zimmer Biomet from, it seems to be in conflict with the values and norms of this great country.

I don’t know how Zimmer Biomet’s business model has gone astray but maybe they should take a closer look at the corporations who flood to Florida and Texas. These are very successful companies that are quite happy to headquarter their companies in states that are too busy making great products and prosperity that to become entwined into racial conflict long since denounced and eradicated from our society. It’s time to send these faceless CRT culprits packing and let freedom ring!
