Another girl has come forward against a Leesburg man who was arrested last week for sexual misconduct with a minor.
Nicholas Reed Colquitt, 18, of 105 EMS T26B Lane, Leesburg, was arrested and booked into Kosciusko?County jail on sexual misconduct charges Oct. 4 after a girl told police that Colquitt drove her to his house after school and had sex with her. Colquitt was charged with sexual misconduct with minor, a level 5 felony.
While in jail on that charge, new charges of having sex with an underage girl were filed against Colquitt. He now is facing four new counts of child molestation, all level 3 felonies, after police say he had sex with a girl under the age of 14.
The second girl told police she met Colquitt while he was working as a lifeguard, according to probable cause affidavit filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
Colquitt and the girl began to text and scheduled a time to meet. The girl pretended to be sick, stayed home from school, and then went to Colquitt’s house to have sex with him, according to court records.
The girl told police she met with Colquitt three other times. She said he would drive them to a wooded area and they had sex in his car, the affidavit charges.
The girl gave a recording to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detective. In the recording, she is heard talking to Colquitt about having sex with him, according to the affidavit.
Colquitt is out on bond. The charges in both cases are still pending.
