Yet another disingenuous piece of tripe from Eppenbaugh. You sure packed a lot of strawmen into that letter. You just keep telling yourself that if it helps. Self-preservation in this paper is unheard of, you must be an astounding American. Your playground tactics are amusing, though. Of course, imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery - but I am afraid that in your case it is the most obvious common or garden variety of fraud.
Van Jones was correct in his statement. On the letters, what refreshing comments and hopefully your sentiments will call many other voices out to say the same thing. Including yourself. You insult me for something and in turn do the same thing. I don't watch Olbermann. Seems you're making up accusations to defend your nonsense. As usual, you change the subject and declare yourself a victim. Oh the poetic irony.
That Web site. Page could not be found. Nice try. Didn't I give you a source? Her book is not good enough for a source.
The election is over. Barack Obama won. John McCain lost. They had this big inauguration thingy back in January; it was all over the news. The bottom line is, with all these current crises, domestic and foreign, people want a government that will take action and intervene to help find solutions. All you can ever offer is "government is the enemy, so we should cut taxes," which is a code for "let's not do a single thing but raid the Treasury to benefit ourselves and our wealthy cronies. We'll even get some of it back in campaign contributions!"
Oh please, Eppenbaugh. You haven't proved nothing except get your name in the paper. I know it's a bitter pill for you. Here's my point, if you let the other side dictate the terms of the debate, they also determine its outcome. A know-it-all or know-all is either someone who has a large amount of knowledge or someone who professes to have a large amount of knowledge, but who actually knows very little at all. Latter part sounds like you.
If you wish to go down that path of self-absorption or for the sake of consistency you might want to consider building a wall around your house, declaring yourself a sovereign state and never setting foot outside your frontiers.
We rank 37th in the world versus those 36 countries that provide socialist health care and better health. If government healthcare is good enough for congress and senate, it's good enough for the rest of us. My taxes paid theirs all these years. Now they can pay for mine for a change.
We can agree to disagree forever but what's your point for attention? Is it for comedy relief or for encouraging superficial research? And your delusion of crowd wisdom does not enhance your social popularity.
