Lady Tigers Lead Roundup With NLC Victory At Goshen

GOSHEN — Behind 20 points and eight rebounds from senior Nikki Grose, the Warsaw girls basketball team posted a 44-34 Northern Lakes Conference victory at Goshen Saturday night.
The victory leaves Warsaw at 7-8 and, more importantly, still alive in the NLC at 2-2.
Keeping their slim NLC title hopes alive, as Plymouth and Northridge each sit a 3-1, the Lady Tigers also got nine points, three rebounds and two assists from junior Pam Miller.
Up next for Warsaw is Wednesday’s home game against Class 4A No. 7 Penn.

Wawasee is now 2-11 overall and 1-3 in the NLC as it prepares for Tuesday’s non-conference game at Whitko.
