True justice has become a rare commodity. People in the Gaza strip were cheering and clapping at the death of so many Americans. The US recently gave them $300 million to rebuild; the result of hurling missiles into Israel. Sponsors of terrorism are rewarded.
In 1944 units of Sepp Dietrich's sixth panzer army slaughtered 81 American prisoners of the 285th Field Artillery at Malmedy Belgium. This had a violent counter reaction on the western front; no more being kind to prisoners. Many were indicted and 13 sentenced to death, but no sentences were ever carried out. Sepp Dietrich blamed it on to Hitler; he died much later in Germany.
The Germans later in the war began sending English speakers in American uniforms behind the lines to sabotage and kill. A number were caught. They were not alleged terrorists, nor were they called suspects, nor made detainees. They were tied up to a pole and shot. There were no repeat offenders unlike some released from Guantanamo.
Mr. Obama said we will never be at war with Islam. Radical Islam has been attacking this country for more than 30 years around the globe. Grabbing our embassy and taking US citizens hostage was an act of war. Jimmy Carter seemed to be helpless. It took the Canadians to get them out. 9/11 proved they have the will to destroy us, but they didn't have the means; they may soon have the means.
I was in the Middle East recently. Muslims think quite differently than we do. Their whole life is centered around Mohamed. Justice to them is the death penalty for anyone defaming Mohamed.
Basking Christ and Christianity in this country is more or less an art form. In Canada, ministers are jailed for justice's sake by quoting the Bible. It's called "hate speech" because many are offended by its condemnation of things they are engaging in.
Our own Congress is mulling over "hate crime" legislation and "fairness doctrine" which could lead to the same kind of justice.
