NAPPANEE - June McDonald, 78, of 58924 Ind. 19, Elkhart, died at 3:45 p.m. Dec. 21, 2007, in her residence.
She was born July 30, 1929, to Ralph and Martha Housouer Hartman. On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Robert Wayne McDonald, who died March 2, 1971.
She lived in the Nappanee/Elkhart area most of her life.
Surviving are two daughters, Tonya (and spouse George) Waugh, Bristol, Tenn.; and Melissa Clark, Elkhart; a son, Kent (and spouse Kelly) McDonald, Nappanee; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three brothers: Frank (and spouse Janet) Hartman, Nappanee; Robert Hartman, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Willard "Bill" (and spouse Ruth) Hartman, Syracuse; and six sisters: Norma (and spouse Kenneth) Mitschelen and Sharon (and spouse Lowell) Chapman, both of Nappanee; Lois Cornell, Goshen; Shirley Stahley, Syracuse; Carol (and spouse Joe) Schrock, Farmington, N.M.; and Mim Warner, Mesa, Ariz. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.
