John Andrew Norris, 32, North Vernon, passed away March 31, 2014, in Jennings County.
He was born July 25, 1981, in Kosciusko County, to Jo Anne (Fouts) Williams. On May 13, 2012, in Brown County, he married Natasha Guenthenspberger, who survives in North Vernon.
He worked as a warehouse attendant for six months with Exegistics in North Vernon, had previously worked for AISIN USA in Seymour, and currently worked part-time for Circle K Gas Station for one year. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America and served as a leader and on the Boy Scout Committee. He was a 2000 graduate of Warsaw High School and he served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hunting, coaching soccer, riding motorcycles and tattoos.
Also surviving is his daughter, Claire Norris, North Vernon; three sons: John Ryne Norris, Kyle Francis Norris and Zachary Liam Norris, all of Pennsylvania; two stepsons, Gabriel Guenthenspberger and Vincent Clark, both of North Vernon; mother and stepfather: Jo Anne and Kevin Williams, both of Warsaw; three brothers: William (and spouse Jamie) Norris and Robert Norris, all of Warsaw, and James (and spouse Asacia) Norris, Fort Wayne; a sister, Krista (and spouse Steve) Parmenter, Warsaw; maternal grandparents, John and Sharon Fouts, Syracuse; paternal grandmother, Ruth Richters, Grabill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his uncle, John Kevin Fouts.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Scott Wiley officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military graveside honors.
Calling is Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 420 S. State St., North Vernon, and for two hours prior to services at Redpath-Fruth Monday.
