Who: Jesus Christ the Messiah is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. He is holy, almighty God, creator, King of Kings, Lord of Lords and the Prince of Peace.
What: Everyone loves a babe in a manger, but when we tell them that Jesus is holy, they begin to reject the message. Then we tell them that Jesus is fully God and fully man, and that He loves them and went to the cross to die for their sins; they have to make a choice to either accept or reject it. The choice they make has eternal consequences.
Why: All men have sinned; the wages of sin is death. Jesus not only died to forgive, but to give us life eternal with the Father Himself, and all God’s people of the world.
When: It is true that Jesus most likely was not born on Dec. 25 but some other time in the fall. Jesus is the Light of the World who never changes. He is the way, the truth and the life.
Where: Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Israel, a Jew; who is maybe the most hated of all races throughout history, yet He is honored above all others as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The most important thing we see as time goes on is that we are human, but we serve the God of all.
