NORTH MANCHESTER – Jeanie Sue Shepherd, 58, of North Manchester, died Sept. 22, 2011, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice, Fort Wayne. She was born Oct. 21, 1952, in Owingsville, Ky., to Ewell and Mary Alice Withrow Purvis. On April 12, 1978, she married Ray Shepherd. Surviving are a daughter, Melinda Alice (and spouse Thomas) Roberts, North Manchester; two grandchildren; five brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
