Jeanette T. Wilkins, 70, Warsaw, passed away at 5:27 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, surrounded by her loving family in Leesburg.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1947, in Pontiac, Mich., to Edward Paida and Doris Curry Tuttle.
She was united in marriage to Walter A. “Butch” Wilkins on Sept. 18, 1978, in Genesee County, Mich.
While living in Michigan, she worked at potato farms in Munger, Mich. She resided in Arkansas for several years as well. She moved to Kosciusko County about four years ago and has resided here since.
She studied at Delta College in Bay City, Mich. In addition, she loved gardening, crotchet, knitting, reading and especially loved her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Brandy (spouse Lonnie) Fisher, Leesburg; Shannon (spouse Kyle) Scott, Butler; Nicole (spouse Marcus) Troutman-Willis, Flint, Mich.; and Kori Novak, Bay City; sons, Tony Wilkins, Viola, Ariz., and Tracy Ferrell, Michigan; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several siblings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. “Butch” Wilkins; and two brothers.
A private celebration of Jeanette’s life will be held in Michigan at a later date.
