Jason ‘Mikey’ Peterson

Posted
Jason “Mikey” Peterson passed away unexpectedly at 11:37 a.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018, at his home in Warsaw. The funny, creative father of two was 37 at the time of his death.

Jason was born Sept. 20, 1980, in Warsaw and had attended Whitko Schools. He worked for KGP Logistics and for Pierceton Welding as a metal fabricator.

Jason was known for his good sense of humor and his fun-loving personality. He enjoyed working on projects with his children, helping them with crafts, and fishing. Equally as creative as he was handy, Jason liked installing and working with various types of lighting; he liked working with neon, LED and other such specialty lighting.

Those who survive with memories to treasure include his wife, Jessica Craft-Peterson, Silver Lake; two daughters, Zoey Peterson, Silver Lake, and Kadence Peterson, Fort Wayne; parents, Larry and Lynne Rose, Akron; brother, Travis Rose, Arizona; sister, Heather Rose, Winona Lake; and maternal grandfather, Thomas Sieron, Arizona.

He was preceded in passing by his paternal grandparents, Jacqueline and Leander Rose Jr; maternal grandmother, Donna Carr; and by two uncles, Randy and Stanley Rose.

Friends and family will join together for viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. A funeral service celebrating Jason’s life will follow, beginning at 7 p.m., with Pastor Terry Bradford, First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, officiating.
