SYRACUSE – James Virgil Barry, 64, of Milford and formerly of Patriot, Ohio, died Aug. 31, 2013, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on Jan. 19, 1949, in Rush, Ky., to James and Lucille Davis Barry. He was married to Debbie Shibler Barry, who survives. Also surviving are three sons: James “Jimmy” Virgil Barry II, Ironton, Ohio; Daniel Arnold Barry, Ashland, Ky.; Chancy Barry, Toledo, Ohio; three daughters: Crystal Barry and Jayshree Parel, both of Ashland; and Brittney Renee Barry, Milford; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; six brothers: Tommy Barry and William (and spouse Margie) Barry, all of Rio Grande, Ohio; John Paul Barry, Pete (and spouse Denise) Barry, and Robert (and spouse Doris) Barry, all of Oak Hill, Ohio; and Timothy (and spouse Flo) Barry, Milford; and three sisters: Linda Black, Thurman, Ohio; Maggie Brewer, Rio Grande; and Mandy Van Bibber, Wellston, Ohio. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home, Oak Hill, Ohio, with the Rev. Burton Neace officiating. Burial will be in Centerpoint Cemetery.
