James “Jim” Russell Dougan, 80, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, died at 11:11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born in Princeton on Dec. 15, 1937, to Gladys Ella Skinner Dougan and Raymond Edgar Dougan. On June 6, 1964, he was married to Nancy Crews Parrott, who survives.
He was a teacher for 33 years, including 18 at Madison Elementary School in Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
